Find your way to Colchester's main train station. (This is Colchester North, not Colchester Town which is a small station in the middle of Colchester.) The clubhouse is one mile north west, up the B1508 road following the signs for 'Bures'.
Directions by Car from the West - London/M25.
It takes about one hour travelling east from the centre of London to the junction of the M25/A12, and one hour on the A12 from there to the main Colchester exit. This is the middle one of three exits from the A12 marked for Colchester (A134).
By Public Transport.
Colchester's main rail station is about 55 miles (one hour by train) from London's Liverpool Street station; and one hour by an hourly-service direct bus from London Stansted airport (STN). Taxis are readily obtained at the rail station or you can walk the 1 mile.
Colchester Golf Club is on the north side of the B1508. Some maps also show a golf flag for Lexdenwood Family Golf Centre which is situated to the south of the B1508, about half a mile away.
