Greenkeepers Report 15th December

Greenkeepers Report 15th December

This week the Larch tree on the 13th has been cut down and cleared up and the surrounding trees have been trimmed and had the lower branches raised.

Tree canopies have been raised up along some of the fairways with more to be done in the next few weeks.

The pathway at the start of the 7th has been started with the white thorn and brambles being scrubbed out and the rest will be completed when the course is dry enough to access with the vehicles needed to pipe and fill the ditch and remove tree stumps.

The greens have had a granular application of Pro-iron.

All inlets and outlets have been cleared out to help move water and aid the drainage of the course.

Extensive leaf blowing has taken place on all tees, greens and bunkers. Please be aware, there are lots of areas of built up leaves which will be cleared and removed when the course is dry enough to enable vehicular access.

All mowers have had a deep clean with a pressure washer and all have been greased.
